Montsia

The Montsià region is the most southern Catalonia. Belongs to the province of Tarragona, is part of the province of Tarragona and the territorial scope of the Lands of the Ebro. The capital of the region is Amposta.

The limits to the south is the Bass Master of Valencia, in the west it borders the region of Matrranya, of Aragon, and the ports of Beceite, limited by the lower Ebro north and east following the flat coastal shoreline, the island of Buddha, and the isthmus Aluet Trabucador, the tip of the Horn and the coast inland Alfacs to the mouth of the Senia, on Land-of-River (Alcanar ).

The region includes twelve municipalities that are Alcanar, Amposta Freginals, La Galera Godall, Mas de Barberans, Masdenverge, Sant Carles de la Rapita, St. James of envy, Santa Barbara, La Senia and Ulldencona.

The landscape is flat surrounded by Puertos de Beceite mountains, the river Senia and the Montsant mountains and the Sierra Godall.
